Thanks, Anika. Once she gets that new body, she'll be one of my absolute faves.

Dear My Scene Fans,
Last night (Tues., 0-27), I went to Big KMart with someone from my family, and we picked up "Orphan", and a third HB Kennedy doll. The doll was on sale for about $8.00! This third HB girl will be named Royaleen/ Royalene Baylea.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I got 3 Fashionistas this morning!
Past week or so I've been doing for a relative that's in the hospital, running stuff back and forth and checking in a couple of times a day. This morning there's a "thanks" card with a Target gift card inside.
So I went into Target looking for something else, but they didn't have it, and the Fashionistas were there and there was nothing else I particularly wanted so I bought Wild, Artsy and Sassy.
Wild has a bit of an issue with one of her leg joints unfortunately. The leg was stiff at first and there's a white line on her leg that wasn't visible in the box so I may have to put tights on her. I still think the knees are a bit larger than they could be, but I do like the more fully articulated body style upon closer inspection.
To me they look a lot like regular FF Barbies, just with more joint action. I mean they're cute, but I wouldn't hesitate to swap heads on any of them for another Barbie I liked more and I just might at some point if the skin tones work. The bodies are cool for the money though. I could live with having a few of these bodies for my favorite dolls, the knee thing notwithstanding.
I still don't get why they didn't articulate the ankles though. Can't we have fashion feet and bending ankles on Barbies? I hardly ever see that though, except on some of the bigger dolls.

Dear My Scene Fans,
First of all, I'd like to say "Congrats!" to you, itsadollthang! I'm going to try to find some cool Fashionistas sometime, 'cause they really look like fun, huh? I somehow think that we're ALL going to enjoy the Fashionista line!
Secondly, I'd just like to say that someone went to Big KMart with me, and they got me Jammaz Lexa. I've given her feet, and her outfit, to Esther, but I don't know if I want to keep her, because she looks so much like Esther, AND because I was hoping to stop at 7 Moxie Girlz dolls...AND because she bears a weird factory flaw...
Thanks in advance for your replies.

This is how it's going around here too. I like the Fashionista girls I got okay, but definitely not enough to leave them on their original bodies. They're getting downgraded to standard Barbie bodies and some of my favorite Barbie girls are getting upgrades. I just picked up two more at Walmart this morning actually. They were on sale at our local big one. I have 5 out of 6 at this point, and all three skin tones now. I'll probably buy two or 3 more of these at some point just to be able to swap out a few more dolls to the articulated body. I hope they keep this line up actually. I can't say I am too crazy about any of the face molds. I think the blonds are a bit boring actually, and I am not too thrilled with the lack of a redhead in this bunch. 6 dolls in a series, but no redhead, no Hispanic or Asian doll? I'm really hoping they'll do more and do the other ethnic groups so I can keep buying them as they come out to do more upgrades.
Just an FYI, like I said in the Fashionista post you really need to watch the knee joints on these. Out of 12 dolls on the shelf at Walmart today there were 4 with damage to the vinyl right above the knee in the very same place as on the one I got. There must be some king of manufacturing flaw with these for there to be so many. That's 5 now, all total.

Three down, three to go! Went to Kohl's today cause mom wanted to return something. FOund the Fashionistas and yeah, got her 50% off. If it weren't for the upcoming December holiday, the nearby Kohl's would of probably never have stocked the Fashionistas! I like Ms. Glam. I think I'll use her as a temporary Shannen.

Thanks, her shoes are so awesome. ^^ I like the Glam I've chosen. Her eyes are painted lower than normal, so when compared to Top Model Barbie, she looks normal. She does appear to have a five-head forehead, though.

Nate Congratz on Ms. Glam.
I picked up an Artsy at Kohl's Friday & grabbed one at TRU since the dolls seem to be normally priced at $9.99 with their sale . My Artsy army is coming along nicely

Thanks. Artsy and Wild seem to be the HTF ones around where I live. So far, only seen them at TRU...wait a minute, sale? xD I'd love to see your Artsy army.

Nate not sure how long the sale lasts but TRU seems to have what they call a sale on certain items. I found an Artsy hanging behind some mermaid so scanned her and she was on sale for $9.99 as well as the rest of the Fashionistas.

I picked up two pairs of shoes for my Rosette girls. One is the basic black uniform pair and the other is from Spring Term Armeria. I plan on getting an Armeria eventually, so now she'll have some pretty shoes.
I also grabbed a couple lots with Evergirl stuff on eBay. Got two outfits I needed! And two I already have. And two dolls I already have. They'll go up for sale when I get them.
