Dear My Scene Fans,

Some people from my family hate horror movies, so I probably won't be going to see "Orphan" next Friday, although I'd love to somehow be able to go to that movie.

Strangely enough, I'm actually totally intrigued by the concept of the movie BECAUSE I know about its spoilers!

So, how many of you are probably going to see "Orphan" next Friday (July 24th)?

ESTHER'S SECRET:

Esther is actually a 30-something, but she looks as though she's about 10 due to a medical condition. She utilizes fake teeth, makeup, a wig, etc., in order to hide the evidence of her true age, and she wears those Victorian-esque ribbons around her neck, and around her wrists in order to hide the scars which were inflicted by her when she struggled with her restraints while she was in a mental institution. She used to be a prostitute who slept with wealthy men...She murdered the kid whom John and Kate were GOING to adopt, and now, she's looking for her next "John"...so beware!


JOHN'S SECRET:

John, who will become Esther's adoptive father, was once a real "John" in the world of prostitution...and that's why Esther wants HIM for an adoptive father...

are those REALLY the spoilers? Those sound absolutely ridiculous.
I saw previews for this forever ago, it looks intresting. maybe worth a dvd rental.

As far as I know, those are indeed the REAL spoilers. I personally think that the movie sounds as though it will be cool...but, then again, that's just me.

Do you think that the spoilers sound ridiculous because they just sound stupid, or because they sound as though they're things that would never happen in real life?

Those spoilers sound extremely weird as if Hollywood is trying really hard for a good story. I think I will pass on this one.

I want to see it, but none of my friends are willing to go with me. I'll just see it later on.

If those are the twists then I am deeply dissappointed. This is almost as rediculous as the twist in 'The Knowing'

OMG I watched Knowing on Saturday and I wasted 2 hours of my life that I won't get back!

I know right? What a waste of film.
