It's so rare to find dolls that I want for more than just one thing or another. These have great clothes and awesome bodies! Win Win!

I just saw all of these at Walmart just now and while I think they are cute I'm not too sure I'd spring for one of them. Honestly up close they look a lot like smiling $10 FF Barbies on old style articulated flat foot bodies only they actually have fashion feet and arms like the new articulated FF's?

That's just an odd combo when you actually see it. It's like getting a cheaper play Barbie on an upscale Barbie body? To me the knee area looks very clumsy compared to those articulated FF girls. They may be more movable, but they're kind of ungainly to look at in a couple of spots. I sure wish they'd have done the knees like those new FF bodies. I think it would have looked 100% better for the $$$.

I keep waiting and hoping they will do more of those at $11-12 like they did. Those dolls were great for the money. If they'd have kept on with that style, articulation sans fancy torso, I'd have been buying FF dolls brand new all the time. As it is every time I see one or two pop up at the local bargain stores for less than $10 I usually end up springing for them even though I think at this point I have one of each one they made. I love swapping bodies with those. I can't do it with all my Barbies. The skin tone variety just isn't really there, but I'd do it for most of them if I could.

The only drawback I find with the Fashionistas is they're limited to 2 skintones  . I guess that's the only way I can say they cheaped out on this line. I just want to find Artsy(AA) now. I bought Cutie & Wild. For the pricepoint I say $10 - 11 is a great price for a fully articulated doll. As for the knees the only way you'll get a better knee is by buying a Pivotal doll which will run you $30 - 55. You can't find them cheaper than $30 nude in most cases.

They didn't have the price on the shelf yet for the ones I saw, but I saw them listed online at $40 the other day. They're only $10? That's not that bad then for those and I just might go back and get one after all. I thought they were like $39.99 and priced more like the cabaret girls.

I think they do look rather like some of those lower end Target FF dolls though, face-wise. You know all big smile and "Hi! I'm your friend Barbie!" The hair is more like the regular FF streaked dolls. They just have better clothes and articulation.

Maybe I will go back later in the week and grab one just to see a body up close. I do have a lot of my MS dolls on the old-style articulated bodies with bigger knees and fashion/flat feet. If I really don't care for the torso upon closer inspection I can always swap one out, I guess.

They are the same price point as the articulated arms FF from last year with that one minor upgrade :D . I wish there were more shades to choose from I would so buy them all several times over. As it is with 2 shades I don't think I have many dolls that particular tan shade most of the dolls are. I hope they are on sale like the last ones were. I will so stock up again if they're $5 on Black Friday 8)

I saw the new fashion packs at Walmart today, but I'm not too impressed. They had a pajama set (again) and an awards show set (again) and then a pink and black fahsion set (I think Maxine be sporting that! :-) ). There are only 3 outfits in these packs, but the same price...hmmmm (whatev Mattel). Anyway, this is just my personal opinion, someone else might be into these, but I like some regular clothes so my girls dont' always look like they're going to a party. Check out your local stores if you think you might be interested.

The pink and black outfits sounds good, but I don't like the downgrade for the same price. I totally agree about wanting regular everyday clothes for dolls Nikkadee.

I haven't seen new fashion packs. But you better believe if they're cute, Maxine will own them.

I saw em yesterday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. :) I'm really dissapointed about them dropping the fourth outfit. :( And although the Barbie cartoons in the back are cute, it sorta makes it...weird? xD The "Maxine" one is fuchsia colored. The dresses are sorta like Mattel's downgraded version of DG Dani's dress, in a way...

I think it's funny you're reffering to the pink outfit as the "Maxine" one. LMAO!

I got two. They are amazing! The outfits are cute and they pose SOOOO well!!! I still havent given them the heads they need (I have two kennedy heads ready to be transplanted) but cant wait to do the switcheroo! :-)
I got the new pink and black set fashion set as well. Its MAJOR Cute and the new shoe mold fits misaki!!! Worth 10 bucks alone right there. I want to go back and get the pajama set, JUST for the little dress and the cucumbers! SO cute.
Cant wait to see pics from yall of the new stuff!

I love that Barbie has the Generation Girl head mold back. To me, that's Barbie. All the Fashionistas are pretty. I know I critiqued them negatively before. But the more I see them the more I like them. And I'm a sucker for pink fashions.

I practically convinced myself to get the pink party dress pack by saying a) "Maxine" fashion pack b) Mattel's downgraded version of DG Dani's dress. And the shoes can fit Misaki? I didn't pay too much attention to the shoes. o.o

Dear My Scene Fans,

I wouldn't mind seeing more photos, but I'D personally be even MORE excited if I saw the Fashionistas, LIVE, the next time that I went to Big KMart! I believe that there are a few My Scene girls who will attack me with miniature sporks if they don't receive new bodies...soon...muahaha!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Fashionistas were at Target today too, not just Walmart. Our local TRU supposedly has them and so does Big Lots surprisingly. $12 everywhere so far. I had a Target gift card so I blew that on 3, Sassy, Wild and Artsy. I like the bodies except for the knees which bother me for some reason. Watch out for bad joints with these though. My Wild was messed up a bit in her knee and has a white line above there. I worked it to where I can move it now, but she's not in the best shape.

Khols has the fashionistas for a little over $7. I bought the last one (girly) and gave her bod to a Kennedy.

Woah, really? D: I always find over-priced Barbie dolls at Kohls. :(
