Hi all,
I won the lot of headless bodies from Max recently on eBay, and have been putting some of them to good use.
All but the Winx doll and Lindsay Lohan are transplants. Left to right they are - top row, Joyeaux (dollar store Bratz clone with repainted eyes); Bluma (formerly Winx Bloom, Italian Winx doll); Karen (MS clone). Bottom row: Aira (Bratz clone) ; Lindsay Lohan; Siban (Bratz clone with enhanced eye paint).
I have a few more doll heads to transplant, and some genuine Bratz heads, but I thought I'd show these off for now.

Why do ya always find the coolest Bratz clones, Lvanett? Not fair, I say! ><
Also, remember those Nita and Nora dolls you had? How'd ya lighten Nita's skintone again?

Lost, I guess it's just fate...? LOL
The one with the nose ring is from one of those "dollar and up" stores. The store is run by people from (I think) China and they have all kinds of kewl and funny knockoff stuff from China not found in other stores. Aira, the name of the girl I got, was on a Bratz-like body with real pointed feet, from a doll line called "Super Cool Gal". They are knockoffs of the Bratz Rock Angelz dolls.
The other Bratz clone, Joyeaux, is from Yankee Dollar from a playline called "Beauty Studio." Their hair colors range from blonde to pink to gray. They all have the same eye decals and paint. The skintones aren't very natural but put on the right body you won't notice.
The other 2 clones are from Dollar General. Siban was one of those "baggie" Bratz clones, the ones with the cheezy clothes...the playline name is (I think) Time to Play Every Day. Karen is a true MS knockoff and I forgot the name of the playline she's from.
As for Nora & Nita, I lightened Nita's skin by painting it. I only applied a very thin but light coat of a pale color of paint (the one I used was called "Linen"). I tried to find a color that I thought would lighten up the skintone and I think that one worked pretty good. I advise only using it on Cloe or Jade-like skintones, since Yasmin is so dark I don't know how that color would look on her.

Thanx everyone for your compliments! Anika, that's interesting, cuz the doll w/the nose ring was also made by Defa. I have one in that hair color shown and another one in blonde with brown (?) streaks. In her case I removed the nose ring and repainted her eyes to green (they were gray, same as this doll.)

I love Defa Lucy dolls. Have you ever read the boxes? Hilarious! I bought one just because the box said, "My Lips Lite Up When I Phoneate"

LOL! The "Super Cool Gal" boxes aren't quite as amusing, but you can tell the person who wrote the stuff didn't speak English as their main language.... "Hello! Come join our team" and "Hello, my hair may change color." (Sounds more like a question than a feature.)
The names listed on the back are obviously not real names...I don't have the boxes anymore but I know one of the names was "Kasherly"....I never heard of that name before.
the Defa Lucy dolls look really cool!

I still need to put Kasherly's head on a MS body. Kasherly is one of the charcters like I said and I figured heck, it's different, she can keep that name! LOL Kasherly is my blonde one who's had her eyes painted a lovely lime green.
BTW if you do get the Super Cool Gal dolls, you won't need to make the neck hole bigger. You can just pop their heads on the MS body as-is!

How is the SCG's head held onto the body? Is it a neck knob like the normal My Scene dolls, or is it that horrible Ball thing that makes it a B*&CH to rebody them?

It's the standard neck knob found on MS, only smaller.

Well, I've used up all the headless bodies, and I'm actually finding myself needing more. LOL Sometime this weekend I'll take a pic of the rest of my rebodied girls, among whom are 2 sets of twins who were Bratz clones, Kasherly on her brand new bod, and 2 Shrek princess heads.

I have one with big Pamela Anderson boobs. But her neck knob is lost to the world. It came off inside the head and BROKE when I tried to pull it out.

Here's 2 more pics of my rebodied gals.
Here's also a chance for everyone to name some of them!
Here's the first set - I'll give the names of those I've already named:
Left to right, top row: unnamed, Miyaki, Tamaki (these 2 are twins), Kymberly, unnamed
Bottom row, left to right: Unnamed, unnamed (these 2 are also twins), unnamed (this one is a sister to the 2 unnamed twins), Bess, Dana (Bratz transplant), Kasherly
Here's the 2nd set - all three dolls are unnamed:
I quickly took the pics as I'm getting packed and ready to go on vacation starting this Friday (October 10). I'm bringing the dolls with me, so I can try some things with paint and such. I also want to see if I can possibly change the skintone of the Bratz clones.
If you have suggestions as to names for the unnamed ones let me know. [/img]

I particularly like the Asian twins myself, and the dark-skinned girl in the 2nd pic on the right. I've never seen another dark-skinned Bratz clone like her, so I had to snag her. With the exception of Bess (the Shrek princess) and Kymberly, all of these were dollar store clones. (Oh, and Dana was a regular Bratz doll.)
I should also point out that the first girl on the left in the 2nd pic had her hair painted, using the method I posted a link to on this site. The paint color was a deep medium brown, as you can see it's a light brown now.

It's funny, I never thought to rebody dollar store dolls. The most I ever did was take their outfits, IF they had outfits worth taking that is. Looking at them like this makes me rethink my stand on dollar store dollies.
