I love the rebodied Ashley Tinsdale! I think it's time for another celeb in the MS lineup and she'd fit in great.
BTW I found out who made the clones Nisa's dad found. Simba Toys (who also makes the Steffi Love dolls) made them. The eyes reminded me of the Lollipop Girls dolls.

OK this pic will need some explaining....first the pic:
Now the explanation: I just received a "lot" of 80s Ken bodies, thinking because they were bent arm they might sport the same neck knobs as the female MS dolls and the boy and girl Bratz dolls. I was wrong. But...they have longer necks as you can see in the pic, so it wasn't a total loss. Dylan was the only one to get the body with the Barbie-like neck knob. His arms and legs are the same color as his face but it's hard to tell from the pic. Dylan unfortunately had NO clothes to wear so I put the baking soda box in front of him so he wouldn't expose himself.
The other 2 pictured are examples of how I've (for now) modified Bratz boyz heads to fit Ken bodies. The body in the middle with the clothes on (shirt & pants) is on a newer body, and his neck is very short. The other one (shirtless but with pants) is on one of the 80s Ken bodies who also have the longer necks.
I need to get more of those 3/8" acorn dowel caps, so I can modify more Boyz.

Excellent job, Lynda. I sent out the Ashley Tisdale doll on Friday. You should be getting her (and your extra surprises) soon.

thanx all! I need to take a better pic of the 3rd dude so you can appreciate him in all his handsomeness. LOL
Since he reminds me a lot of Blaine (Barbie's ex boyfriend) I decided to rename him to Blaine. He is SO buff!
I did at least find some nice short sleeved shirts for MS guys (and Ken) on eBay:

Max I am SO eagerly awaiting my "My Scene Ashley Tisdale"! Anything extra will be a treat. Thanx in advance!

The MS gang has a new celeb in the lineup....Ashley Tisdale!
Actually, she's just a rebodied Ashley. I got the head from Max and the body from HM's friend Lilly. Lazy me didn't take off the clothes, altho I did try to find shoes matching her skintone.
I still need to get some Gwen Stefani dolls (or heads only) so I can rebody them and then they'll have some more celebs.
PS... Max in case I didn't do so before thanx for the extra stuff sent with Ashley! I'll use them as soon as I can.

I've had pretty good luck using them as new bodies. It's getting the heads off that's a problem. What I ended up doing on this one was cutting a slit in the back of her head, making it easier to remove. Since I was going to ditch the head anyway it didn't matter. I'm not a Hannah Montana fan.

This is Valia, she is (or was?) a fairy doll....I found her in the grocery store on a small body and knew her big head would be perfect for MS.

these next 2 rebodys are truly a first for my MS world.
Introducing...the first customized, My Scene-ized, "reproduction" of the (former) bratz Wicked Twiins!
OK, so that's not a good picture. Hopefully this one is better:
Now a little background on how they came to be: I wanted a set of the Wicked Twiins (still do if I can ever get one without breaking the bank) but inspiration and creativity struck. I discovered I had 3 original Roxxi dolls from the first twiins set...and noticed the resemblance between her and the Wicked twiins' face paint. After trying to match eye colors, skin tones, and hair colors, I settled upon the results you see. They're far from perfect, but I thought for custom made repros, they're not bad.
BTW I recolored their hair with a red sharpie pen. I know people say not to do it, but I thought, what the heck? Their hair looks nice and deep reddish now. Besides, I'm not going to wash their hair so they'll be OK.

thanx for the compliments on Ciara & Diona
More rebodies - I've had Nevra rebodied for a while but she developed spots on her legs so she got a new body courtesy of Anika. The other girl next to her is Rainee.
Nevra looks hot in her dress and MS shoes if I do say so myself.
Here's a closeup of her:
Rainee looks kinda geeky, almost like a mom....
I need to fix her

I can't remember the name of the playline. I just remember finding her at Walmart about 5 years ago. They were a MS knockoff (I think) and I remember they earrings lit up, and also I think their belly button had a light that lit up too.

I uncovered one of my first Bratz-to-MS rebodies, Meygan!
She's posing here with Bryce.
This 2nd photo actually serves two purposes: to show off two "My Scene-ized" dolls and Bryce's new MS-ized sandals. I used a Dremel to hollow out the inside of a pair of Bratz Boyz shoes, so now Bryce (and the other MS guys) have at least one new pair to share. I have more to do, when the time permits.
I should also try to better match Meygan's skintone.
