Disney doll vinyl behaving badly! Is that a prob. 4 U?

Dear My Scene Fans,

For some reason, I decided to start yesterday's organizing job by checking my old Disney dolls, which I haven't displayed in years. Well, THAT was a sorry incident! I discovered SO many sticky noses, several cases of discoloration, and...THREE DOLLS WHO WERE BEYOND HELP! EEK!

My first Peter Pan doll's face was sticky, AND his legs were sticky, too. He was released in 1998.

Alice, of Alice in Wonderland, from 1994, sported a cracked neck. Maybe the Queen SHOULDN'T have said, "Off with her head!", 'cause her head very nearly DID fall off!

The most gut-wrenching case was that of Aladdin, from 1992; his entire face was a sticky, icky mess!

The three dolls were thrown into a bag together, and the bag was thrown into the trash. Happy "PG-13 and Beyond Nude Landfill Adventures", Alice, Peter, and Aladdin!

Poor me!

My childhood dolls are being destroyed by...TIME! I can only IMAGINE what my newer Disney dolls will be like in just a few short years! EEK!

So, have any of you experienced any problems with your pre-2002 Disney dolls?
