Has anyone heard about this? Mattel is going to be selling their products online just like Hasbro. I sure hope this includes everything not just certain toys. I know they currently have a site up for collectors of action figures.

They're probably talking about MattyCollector.com. I don't think they mean something like a Mattel online store. But we can always hope.

So, YES, it does seem like it will be a Mattel online store!

Hope it opens very soon. This way everyone can get their hands on the
My Scene and not have to travel around the world to get them.

Buyers have to go online? Why not make them available on stores across the whole world. Well, the non-collector dolls!

well one thing that might help us out. On the bottom of the new H.B dolls there's a "service" email address. If I recall it's "service@mattel.com". We could all email them requesting M.S to be available online. It's a pretty easy thing for Mattel to do...but I have a feeling the availability (or lack of) for M.S has more to do with the legal stuff with MGA and what not. I think they are trying to clean all that stuff up before doing a full launch in the U.S..

No, it's not.
I bought from their online store mattycollector.com several times and it was a terrible experience!
They had lots of technical problems and the customer service was lacking (no e-mail/ no contact form).
Also, they did not package well and in most cases the blistercards of the figures arrived with small damages.

The shipping from Barbie Collector isn't much better. Just got a Marilyn and her plastic box was almost folded in two. They must ship from the same warehouse.

Sorry to hear you guys are having so many problems with Mattel's shipping. I never had an issue with packaging when ordering from Barbie Collector..but maybe I just got lucky..?

I was actually referring to it being "easy" for Mattel to put My Scene up for online ordering if they wanted to do so. Sorry about your other issues tho :)

You know, if I were a collector who liked my things NRFB and I bought it directly from the company and my box came crushed, I'd be furious!

I was just on www.shop.mattel.com and there are no My Scene dolls at all. They just had Barbie, Wizards of Waverly Place, SIS, and a few collector dolls. :(

:( There really is no point to this shop. I'd rather go out to the stores and pick it up myself.

Oooh, I see the little ring Peekaboo petites. That's about all that catches my eye. I also don't like how they have Kara and Trichelle mixed up...AGAIN. Who is who, Mattel? D:

It's better to buy the dolls is stores, SIS Salon and WoWP Basic Alexs are $2 cheaper in stores. I do hope to see the PaBP rings in stores soon.

I think it's funny how the people doing the Mattel websites still can't tell the diff between Trichelle and Kara. Haven't they seen the commercials or consulted with Stacey? ;)

Actually, I've seen the rings in Wal-Mart! :D Too bad everytime I go to Wal-Mart, it's with my mom...or else I would of have bought another Peekaboo already!

:( Kinda shows how Mattel doesn't really pay attention to their products sometimes.

Mattel? Pay. Attention. To. Customers. Or. Products? NEVER! They all know that no matter how much we bag on them they'll still do things that annoy the heck out of us, and we'll still buy they're products! I wouldnt be surprised if myscene ended tomorrow and they used the entire myscene molds and toons for their new bratz line... (That sounds like a conspiracy theory)

Dear mysceneboy,

That sounds like a COOL theory, though, 'cause I'd rather see the My Scene friends as The New BRATZ than to never see them again at all! Wouldn't you at least like to see them again, in a nearby store?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

That's the problem with the big companies, MySceneBoy. They think they know better than us. They don't listen to the opinions of collectors. But instead that of focus groups that consist of random people. Why would you trust the opinions of 'Johnny Off-The-Street' about a new Barbie Doll, than that of actual Barbie collectors? I wouldn't. But apparently Mattel would
