Dear My Scene Fans,

I think that the entire situation can be judged based upon the way by which one looks at it. I mean, if we're going to zero in on Splashy_Chic, then she's gonna look guilty as heck, of course, because she has indeed been rude upon occasion!

If we're going to look at everybody on these boards, then we could well say that there have been SEVERAL posters who have been just that rude on just as many occassions. I myself will admit to having been rude a time or two.

I've been trying to give Splashy_Chic as many chances as are possible, because I don't think that it's fair to run someone off if they haven't been genuinely, pointedly, vindictively, and intolerably cruel on a super negative level. I must admit that I haven't approved, in the least, of everything that Splashy_Chic has said...

I'm one of those posters who didn't even believe that what we did to burb was right. I flew off the handle at burb because she wouldn't forgive Enrico for a past wrong, and I told her that if SHE wouldn't forgive Enrico, when SHE HERSELF wanted another chance, then she was being ridiculous. Needless to say...she left, and she hasn't returned, and I've felt guilty ever since...

I've sort of felt badly, or at least strangely, about EVERYBODY who has disappeared, including the girl who designed her own My Scene clothes (Don't even ask, 'cause that incident is best left in the past), the two sisters who's father wouldn't let them return, etc.

I don't disagree with the practice of ignoring those who have mistreated you in the past, but I don't agree with the idea of being Hell-bent on these major arguments/ outstings, etc.

If we're sort of like a family, or even like a crew of friends, then we all have to cooperate...to some civil degree or another. That's how I see the situation, anyway.

I'm not a Moderator, and I don't intend to try to change any rules, or anything like that, but I don't think that any one poster should necessarily be singled out, when we all know that there have been various other posters who have caused ruckuses from time to time...

We have moved on from that situation, other members on the board have. Only Splashy is the one that hasnt. She has carried on her venom to other topics and to PM's.

I hold my hands up and say, I shouldnt rise to her.

I feel that we all have the ability to cause problems, but we all have the ability to stop them as well. I say we let what's in the past, stay in the past and work towards getting along better in the future.

Go read the "swine flu" thread. I think what she said there completely qualifies for this condition of yours. If it was a one time thing, perhaps it could be forgiven, but she's attacked multiple people (including entire nationalities) multiple times. That little incident was likely the last straw for some.
