I'd at least like to see her skintone come back. It makes it so much easier to headswap them onto obitsu bodies and actually have it look right.

1.) Why didn't they call her Nolita??? Come on...that would have been an awesome name and would have suggested the introduction of a Lolita and/or Goth-loli sensibility to the clothing. All the Mattel guys need to do is go to the Volks showroom in nearby Torrance and take a look at some of the clothing lines there.
2.) They should bring back Nolee/Nolita and introduce everyone to her new life as a fashion design student at FIDM in Downtown Los Angeles and her fab off-campus life in Little Tokyo. Slammin' at hot underground nite spot The Smell, chillin' at 2nd St. Jazz listening to the coolest in modern LA Jazz, having a karaoke party with her FIDM buds, working hard in studio getting her clothing ready for finals, and shopping for groceries and kawaii and sugoi stuff in her neighborhood.
I feel a photo-story coming on...well, eventually, anyway.

Dear TeamElSegundo,
What I don't understand is Mattel's decision to spell her name "Nolee", when they'd named her after the Nolita district. They could have called her Nolita/"Noli", or at LEAST "Noli", but then they would have worried about kids mispronouncing her name as "Noleye".
Thanks in advance for your reply.

I think it's cause Nolee sounds more Asian than Nolita. Nolita sounds more spanish to me.

I give Mattel props for such a unique name.
