The photobucket tutorial is very helpful. I'm anxious to try those methods out.

Dear Impy,
Thank you for creating a list of urls. That'll be helpful for all of us!
Thanks in advance for your reply.

I posted this link a while back, not even sure if it belongs in this thread, but since some folks like to rename their dolls be they OOAKs, customs, or not here's a link to a bunch of name generator sites.

Impy or whoever's in charge, if you feel it doesn't belong here feel free to delete.
Also, a link to yet another reroot method and tool...I'm considering this one to reroot some Bratz heads. The instructions are further down.

I use an old tooth brush and toothpaste.
I find its not a abrasive as other products and dosn't take the lip paint off.
But if the glitter is thick like the Bling Bling dolls, its doesnt take it all off.
You would have to remove the lips to get rid of it.

Honestly Sam I just used my fingernail and did a little at a time so as not to ruin the lipstick. And in some cases I just removed the lipstick completely with acetone

Question: Does Anti-Acne creams remove face paint on dolls?
No, acne cream only removes ink stains and, for dolls that develop green ear from wearing earrings with metal posts (and leaving them in too long) it works too. Both methods take a while, anywhere from a week to 2 months. It depends on how deep the ink stain or green has penetrated into the vinyl.

To remove face paint I get the scented non-acetone nail polish remover. I only get the scented so my kitties will stay away from it. (Cats don't like sweet smelling stuff.)
