Thank you DGF but alas Calvin passed away a few years ago he was a family dog. Everyone who knew him misses him still even other family ask about him. When we tell them they get sad he was so loved.
If cloning becomes cheap we can all get our most beloved pets again

I never posted pics of my pets in this thread....my apologies! Anyway, these are my 3 babies:
Daniel
Solomon
Greta
Daniel is about 1 year old, Solomon is about 8 years old and Greta is 9 1/2 years old. Daniel is the rambunctious one who loves everybody & gives me kisses everyday, Solomon is the gentle shy loverboy who's a real lap cat and Greta is the bossy timid lady who only loves her mama and NOBODY else, cats included. LOL

OMG such cuties! I love Daniel he looks like a heartbreaker. I've observed from my previous cats, only males love sitting on my lap. *Sniff* I miss my cats, Greta reminds me so much of my Luna.

Turqouise I know how you feel! When I lost my Buster just before my birthday last year I was SO brokenhearted. It took me months before I could look at his picture without crying. Then finally in December God blessed me with Daniel first, then Solomon.
Daniel adapted immediately to his new home. A friend of mine surprised me with him. I just couldn't get over how cute he was!
Solomon took a long time. He does have FIV but he's an affectionate and playful kitty. He's finally getting settled in.

Dear My Scene Fans,
Have you ever seen animals that you WISHED were your pets!
Today, my family went to the local state park at which we volunteer, in order to attend a small party. While I was there, I saw the cutest black and white wild kitten, but the poor thing was too scared of people to mew back at me.
Then, later, I was about to head across the street to get myself a bag of old-fashioned peppermint candies, when I almost stepped on what appeared to be a dead squirrel. Upon closer examination, I discovered that the poor, soaked thing was breathing, and struggling, etc. One of the volunteers was actually an animal rescuer, so she was able to rescue the baby squirrel. That poor little squirrel was sooo cute!
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Janet thanx for the compliment! I just love Greta, she loves to be held and cuddled.
Jeannie....all the time!!! I saw the most beautiful tortie kitty in Petsmart a while back and I wished I could've had her. But I'm only allowed 3 pets, and I've got my hands full with my "stooges" as I call them. I love my babies.
I've heard of people adopting squirrels as pets. Can you imagine? LOL
Did any of you see the guy who has a pet duck?

The twins at my school are obsessed with squirrels. It used to be cows. Imagine having a pet cow in LA...
