The formal set has been out forever, but they only shipped small assortments to various places. Maybe we will see the winter fashion fever dolls soon! I need more bodies...
I kinda like the gold dress. But they are SO cheap! I wish barbie would do collector fashion and sell them at walmart and have like two outfits for 15 bucks or something. :-/
Or do more Hilary Duff stuff. Im not digging these fashion packs at all. :-(

I WANT THIS SOO BAD! The red dress is gorgeous!

& that gold Barbie Emmy, I have that! But mine is silver and came with a Hollywood Barbie doll I got from the early 2000's

I wholeheartedly agree. There are fashions sold in the Midwest US for example that we NEVER see in the Northeast. (Vice versa I'm sure.) And if we do, they're in extremely limited quantity, as in get them when you see them. I've had to dole out double and sometimes triple the original price just to get certain outfits on eBay....but that's the way it goes I guess.

I've had no luck finding those Candy Glam fashions. Is there anyplace online that will sell them to US customers?

Hi hun. These are the US sellers I got mine from.
Both sellers were fantastic and de-boxed them to cut down on shipping, which is a big plus for me cos shipping to the UK is allways pricey.

Oh and this seller also has some 80's and 90's fashion packs. COOL!

I like those fashions but never bought them. There was an abundance in January. They are so cheaply made that I never bothered.
Some of them wouldn't even fit right. That gold dress is a almost the same as the purple top that's shorter and it didn't fit right either.
As for the black dress, it's another rehash. Mattel can never stick with the cartoon design. Everything has to look different when it
comes to actual product. As for Ken's outfit, it look so dated. The only things I really want are those black/siilver heels.

I totally agree with you about the ones last year.

But the bright, colourful, fruity inspired ones fit wonderfully.
All 3 of the sets.

For the first one I really like the Bling-esque outfit and the one with the pants.

For the 2nd one, all!

I found this set yesterday at Walmart (only one left) so I had to have it. Now I need to get the boys some shoes! They're starting to complain. (You would too, if you had bare feet all the time. LOL)

OMG!! I forgot I took that pic!! LOL
Yeah, I found this in the Hamleys department of Jenners (which is part of the House of Frazer group) here in Edinburgh.
Sadly (only because there is no toy department at all now), Hamleys pulled out of all House of Frazers stores, and only has the stand alone store (I think the only one is London).
I thought it, and the Candy Glam set were cute, but not for the price. :)

Thought yall might like to see how the clothes fit MS. I used MS shoes on all but Dylan.

Image

The white shoes on Danitra (last one on right) are customized and may not really go with the outfit, but I wanted to see how these clothes might look on dark-skinned dolls. (Her dress is black w/silver). I forgot to include the purse.

Anyway,a more closeup of the foursome - Chelsea, Nia, Dylan & Danitra:

I love that gold dress. It looks really good. I'm surprised it fits better than the shorter purple version I got.

I just saw ALL OF THESE yesterday - May 22 2009 - at Walmart. The only difference is the packaging - they now use the vintage Barbie logo, and they're packaging the pink raicoat and denim/multidotted minidress as regular FF. They just got these in. Finally!!!

BtW the reason I know they just got them in was because I check that store weekly for doll deals, and they weren't there before.
