Thanks. I was worried that even with the broken face, she'd still look too pretty.

Dear Max,
Marie is super pretty, and she has a sort of a vaguely matronly, authoritative, maternal aire about her.
Skarlett's mask-doffing moment actually scared me! EEK! She's like a female version of The Opera Ghost, or something! Well, she's certainly a far cry from the typical, princess-perfect My Scene girls...I wonder what her future will be like...will she have a love interest, and will her battles bring her glory...?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

My emo goth girl Marie and Skarlett finally reveals what's under her mask Are you ready?.... Ok Pretty nasty scar huh? This was paritally inspired by 'Invisible Monsters' but Living Dead Dolls Deadbra Ann had a big hand in this final 'scarred' look

Not really. She's just a cynical, angst filled goth chick Jeannie wrote: Skarlett's mask-doffing moment actually scared me! EEK! She's like a female version of The Opera Ghost, or something! A love interest for Skarlett? No. She's a lone wolf. As far as if her battles will bring her glory...we'll just have to wait and see.

Well since they were missed in the 'Miraculous Moms' thread,I'll repost my pics here.
Here is Maxine's mom all done and ready to go to work. I know her neck looks kinda short, but it's the angle the pic was taken. I was loosing my light fast so I had to snap a quick one.
and as an added bonus, inspired by the movie/book 'Coraline' here's the Other Mother as I imagined her. And yes those are real buttons sewn onto her eyes.

Their was a rumored Mortal Kombat character named Scarlett (also Ruby) who was a female ninja like Kitana and Milena. She probably had something weird going on under her mask. Anyway, she was just a rumor. MK has had a lot of rumored characters.

I believe that is what Max based his Scarlett on.

Yup, it sure is! In fact I think I mentioned that when I first introduced her.

SHUT UP!!
really!?
lol
I cant believe I picked that up! I just kinda thought i was a big cosidence.
So your a MK fan? I love scorpion. His skull head is totally hot. Ermac came about as being a rumor at first, so we may someday see a Scarlett in MK9 or whatever. Or you can just make one in Kreate a Warrior in Armageddon.

I love Mortal Kombat! It's my favorite game.
Scarlet/Ruby was a glitch in the MK2 Arcade system. You see, in order to stretch the character limit, they recycle sprites. So Kitana/Mileena and Jade were originally shot in red. Then the computer alters the color pallette to represent different characters. But sometimes the computer gets messed up and renders the character in red. It's the same glitch in the MK1 system that made Scorpion/Sub-Zero and Reptile come out in red.
The major difference is the name would change to Error-Macro when the glitched red ninja appeared. So fans saw a red ninja and to fit the screen, the name came up as Er-Mac. And that's how Ermac was born.
Scarlet/Ruby on the other hand was just a nickname given by fans. Even with the glitch the character would still say 'Kitana/Mileena/Jade' depending on who it was supposed to be.

Thanks for typing that up for the others to read. I was just gonna copy paste what Wiki said, basically the same thing, but never got around to it.
I wish MK would continue. It sucks that the MK VS DC game sucks.
I really liked armageddon, even though it didnt have real fatalities (WTF!) or endings, but its still good. If I were ever rich, Ive always said MK2 would be one of the arcade machines in my game room.

I'm glad I didn't get the MK vs DC game then. As much as I love crossovers, my passion for video games died with the release of the PS3.
I much prefer my dolls anyway. But MK will always have a warm, fuzzy, blood-splattered place in my heart.

I'm not sure if Max had any more projects on his hands, but I found a post on Doll Divas that sorta screams Max commission...

I wonder...of course, I'd be SO embarassed if it doesn't have anything to do with Max.

" He's seriously sent me at least 50 dolls over the past year and always picks the most fab fun hairstyles for me to do."
Seriously, who else could that be? xD
Rock Angelz Jade is perfect for OOAK, I must say. Hated her last year, but ever since I dubbed her Nita, she's loved. And now another one has become Maxine.

It's funny because I was about to sell her, then something about her eyes said 'Maxine' to me. Then I remembered how you suggested a Bratz Maxine so I thought, 'Why not? Could be fun.' And bam, there she is. Plus the Bratz pout is the closest thing I'll ever get to a smiling Bratz head mold.
