Dear My Scene Fans,

There are a nauseating number of Mattel's Disney dolls at my family's house! Everyone from Snow White to Princess Kida, and from The Beast to Peter Pan, is there, but ya' know who's missing? Pinocchio, Gepetto, The Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, etc.!

There have been a few big, awkward Pinocchio puppets, but there have never been literal, Mattel-made, fashion doll versions of ANY of the "Pinocchio" characters, that I'm aware of, anyway.

*SPOILER ALERT!*

The following lineup should be in order:

Marionette Pinocchio: Pinocchio as an actual marionette, but vinyl instead of actual wood...w/ Jiminy Cricket

Pinocchio: Pinocchio, as he appears during most of the movie, w/ Jiminy Cricket

Real Boy Pinocchio: Pinocchio as a real boy, w/ Gepetto and Jiminy Cricket (wearing the medal)

Pinocchio's Family Gift Set: Pinocchio, as he appears during most of the movie, w/ Gepetto, Figaro, Cleo, and Jiminy Cricket

Strombolli

Honest John and Giddeon Gift Set

Lampwick

Brave Pinocchio: Pinocchio, as he appears while he's searching for his father (grey Donkey ears and tail), w/ Jiminy Cricket

The Blue Fairy: The Blue Fairy

Pinocchio's Magical Moment Gift Set: Pinocchio, as he appears during most of the movie, w/ The Blue Fairy (Talking version), and Jiminy Cricket, who arrives with a change of clothes...

I've always thought that there should be a "Pinocchio" lineup; my renewed interest, with regards to such a lineup, came to me when I watched the movie, and when I decided that Bethelle (formerly Cafe Chic Kennedy) would be the perfect Blue Fairy for Pinocchio in the My Scene world.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

If they ever DID do something like this, they'd probably use a repainted Tommy doll as Pinocchio, A reworked 'Cinderella' mold for the Blue Fairy and the only NEW molds we'd see would be for Gepetto. But that's IF they even bother to make Gepetto. As for the other 'animial' creatures in the movie, they'd be cardboard pieces you cut out of the boxes. It's what Mattel did for all their Disney dolls back in the 90's.

But Pinocchio is more on the 'boy' side of Disney movies, so a doll line is highly unlikely. The fact that we got a Bo Peep doll for the Toy Story series was a shock to me. But then again, she was released around the same time as Toy Story's "Tour Guide" Barbie.
