Dear My Scene Fans,

Some of you may dislike me for turning this message thread into my online journal, but I'm beginning to realize that the "What's new..." thread is starting to look like my own personal journal, and I'm thinking that that's not right; it'd be rude for me to keep taking up sooo muuuch spaaace with stories of my dramatic life, so I'll just treat this message thread like a journal, and everybody who wants to read it, and/ or to comment may do so.

I will say that I'm not being complained about, nor am I being prompted, bribed, or forced, to switch from the other message thread to this message thread. If Impy wishes to lock this new message thread at any time, she should feel free to do so.

Some of you may say, "What...a...snob!" Well, since it's a free internet, you have as much right to post your own message thread as I have to do so.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear My Scene Fans,

This shall be the first page of my journal!

I've been looking for old catalogue pages, and I've found some cool ones, including...

Minty Men, Fer Shurr!

Image

I must credit Johnny Virgil with the photo, which advertises two suits, circa 1977! It's interesting to note that Barbie and Ken sported coordinating, mint green "In the Limelight" ensembles in 1979!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear myscenefan,

I already have a face. Why do I need to pair it with a book? I am not a bird, so I do NOT tweet!

Thanks for reading my journal.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Now I'm having a craving for mint chocolate chip icecream something fierce. Noooooooo!

I don't mind if you make your own journal thread, Jeannie. I've seen other boards that have an entire section dedicated to people doing just that. How come you don't have any of the nine million journal or even random thought type sites? Is it a privacy issue or ...?

Why don't you just open a livejournal account, or a blog or something? Oh and get to work on Cookie's pic for 'My new BFF' ;)

Dear My Scene Fans,

Today was a weird day! I was awake early, so that I could go to Big KMart with someone from my family, but they never got dressed! The historical park event will occurr a week and a half from now, and I could have earned some money doing something that I don't really like to do, but I refused (A certain someone from my family was going to buy me the swappable Moxie Girlz Avery set if I agreed to the deal, but I didn't...sooo...

Later, another person from my family actually took me to Big KMart, spoiled me rotten with the Moxie Girlz set (I MUST select the Sophina set when next I have $30 available to me), in exchange for my eternal devotion to helping with the event; my family is having to run the entire event, due to a major snafu which involved the guy who normally runs everything! EEK!

The Big KMart trip was sort of sad, because some woman was yelling at her daughter to leave the restroom while I was in there. The woman's first comment was growly, and THEN she threatened to LEAVE the kid in the store! I was FURIOUS!

As for the Moxie Girlz, I'll review them on the "Barbie, Bratz, and Other" board.

I must eat dinner!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I like the outfit on the second guy. Though not his tie.

The first guy looks to be hairy chested. I don't like how his
pants are pulled up too high. Also not fond of his checkered
pants.

I like mint, if only every mint comes with a man eh Jeannie?
LOL.

Dear My Scene Fans,

That second guy looks Easter Sunday sexy, Spunky! That second outfit is classy, charming, AND minty! Even if every mint arrived with a super hot guy, my life might not be 100% wonderful...

This week has been hectic! My family is trying to get ready for a volunteer event at the local historic park. I recently realized that my family accidentally signed me up for all three days of the event, when my physical limits are really only suited to two days, sooo...I have emailed a few people (including a family friend, Heaven help me), in order to try to change my schedule. I only hope that they don't get upset with me, or consult my family, as though I'm not 30, or something ELSE like that! ARG!

In OTHER news (and more splendid news), I used the rest of my money to buy some spooky glow sticks, etc., and two new, battery-powered candle lights, one of which is a spooky chamber stick!

I can't WAIT to get "Orphan" on October 27! That'll be my "End of the event!"/ relaxation/ Halloween gift!

Of course, I'd also love the bare feet from all four Moxie Girlz Jammas dolls, and a Lexa, a Sasha, an extra Avery, and an extra Sophina!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear My Scene Fans,

My life is a 3-act drama right now! I was finally able to lessen my level of participation in this next weekend's park event, but I had to say "No" to the lady for whom I volunteer in the store, and I'm wondering if she'll probably be mad at me when I volunteer this Wednesday!

Yesterday, someone from my family took me to the station, and then, we went to the park, and we spent hours (I had only eaten breakfast, and the other person from my family hadn't eaten at all) literally cleaning grime away from a kitchen, and a bathroom, which will be used by the volunteers this coming weekend. I held a window for minutes on end, so that it wouldn't fall onto me. The other person from my family cleaned the toilet, the sink, the tub, etc., while I attacked the kitchen conveniences, like the grimy range, the counter, the windows, the outside of the fridge, etc. Why did I even shower yesterday morning? I must admit that I felt a strange sense of pride while I was cleaning the range...

We then went shopping so that we could dress the building up a bit; we had to buy food, a shower curtain, etc., plus food and soap for ourselves. Some of the shopping took place at Wal*Mart, so I went home with Moxie Girlz Jammaz Sasha (renamed Sashay)!

The other highlight of my day was the moment during which I was able to run off tons of copies of a pamphlet which will help me immensely when I am ready to present a certain building in the park! I won't have to talk my lungs out anymore!

Our arrival home was met with the disaster which surrounds our outdoor cat, Mac. He had been bitten, so now he's in surgery! I feel guilty about his ordeal...you can read more about THAT dramatic situation in the "What's New" message thread.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear My Scene Fans,

Today, I went to the local historical park, from 10-4, to interpret the Chinese store, 'cause I'm the Chairperson for the store. Several sweet little kids wanted to paint characters, and I really enjoyed being able to brighten their day by letting them choose, and paint, various Chinese characters next door to the store. The newly-discovered pamphlets were really helpful to me, and I got a few ideas to add to tomorrow's presentation!

I actually like donning the fuzzy, plushy black pants, the golden tabard, the pin, and the black flats, so that I can present the calligraphy project next door to the store. I only wish that I could dress Nolee up in an historical Chinese outfit and take HER to the park with me; she's not historical, so she wouldn't be allowed! Darn!

I know that I'll be super tired by tomorrow evening, but I'm glad that I'm really getting my act together, with regards to my historical program!

The only TRUE downside to the entire day's experience was the fact that dinner was a portion of a Pot Luck buffet; I said "Hail Mary, full of grace. Protect the food that feeds my face." in my head before I ate, because I HATE Pot Luck suppers!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Don't go having too much fun with those glow-sticks
and battery operated candles. I'm sure they'll come
in handy for relaxation at the end of the event lol.

Dear My Scene Fans,

Thanks, Spunky, for the avatariffic compliment! Do you know how tough it is to actually find avatar-sized photos? I actually DID save some of the glow sticks, and a glow-prop, too, and I'm going to take an awesome Halloween-themed My Scene photo later this month; that photo will feature the glow-prop!

Well, the event is over, for me, anyway. A few other people from my family have to be there today, during which tons of school children are supposed to come to the park! EEK! THAT could make for an interesting "Wear em' out" situation; the docents are USUALLY worn out after TWO days!

I like kids as much as the average person, but I can't believe that they're gonna be easy to deal with, after a ton of docents have been living in camp for two days in a row!

Yesterday wasn't easy for me, anyway. I almost fell asleep during the first few hours of my day, and then the hours crawled by sooo slowly. When I thought that it was 3 P.M., it was, like, 1:20! I did have a few kids and their parents visit my station, and that was cool, but my mood went sour about a half an hour before the event was to close, and I started cleaning my Chinese calligraphy brushes, one of which actually broke, due to having held too much ink!

Suddenly, one of my friends from the radio station town showed up with his daughter, and by the time that I realized who he was, it was too late for me to try to sound totally sunny and cheerful. I tried to make up for my rushed mood by offering to let the little girl paint a character, but she and her friend hung back, and her dad just sort of challenged me, as he always does, saying, "Can YOU paint one?" I demonstrated my yet-to-be-totally-honed..."talent" for them! I still feel totally guilty, though! I'm going to offer that kid a special calligraphy lesson later.

After that, MORE kids showed up, including a few who were...coughing! AHEM! Hello! I already have major sinus issues, due to having to work with an overseer who came to the store SICK on Wednesday!

Well, anyway, after the second day of the event (yesterday), I ate doughnuts, squeezed into an insanely small bathroom stall, felt fairly upset about that, and was allowed to eat dinner with some of the other docents. We went out for Chinese food, and the buffet food was super good! My fortune cookie fortune told me that I should take the opportunities which would present themselves to me every day.

The one opportunity that I should NOT have taken was that of having too many sips of the beer that someone from my family had ordered. I wasn't planning to take my medicine last night, anyway, but I STILL shouldn't have had so much beer; I just kept sipping the stuff, like it was going out of style, and pretty soon, I felt as though my entire torso was full of an alcohol-like feeling.

I was by NO means even buzz drunk, but my hands and arms were sort of weak, and almost tingly, and the soda glass felt really heavy, and I was becoming scared, so...I truly, and finally, stopped taking sips of Tsingtao's famous Chinese beer!

I must have been exhausted last night, because I took a shower, crawled under the comforter to just relax (at about Midnight), and woke up at about 7 this morning.

I feel fine today, apart from feeling as though I have a slight cold! We all know why I have a cold...GRRR!

I hope that there are enough pamphlets in the Chinese store for all of those kids, but there should be, because I ran more copies than you could shake a stick at! There are times when an historical park's resemblance to Disneyland WOULD be rather nice; I wish that an automated version of the store's 1860s owner existed, so that HE could teach Chinese calligraphy in my absence.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear My Scene Fans,

Well, the storm arrived, blowing every tree until its branches waved about dramatically, and, just as I was taking some cool pictures of Cookie and Co., the lights flickered on and off a few times, and...the blasted power went out!

My shrine's-worth of battery-operated candles, and one orange, emergency glow stick, came in handy...VERY handy, while my family and I were trying to see in my bedroom, the bathroom, etc. You see, there are no windows in our bathroom!

We went out to dinner, but when we returned to the house, the lights were STILL out, so we had to rely upon the battery-powered candles, two real candles, etc. Someone from my family cleaned the bathroom counter off, so that the candles wouldn't be surrounded by toiletries, and, at one point, they accidentally reached for the light switch, and...the light came on! I was overjoyed! I wouldn't have to go to the bathroom in the near-dark!

I am SO going to stock up on glow sticks this Autumn/ Winter, in case any more storms come to my town during the future.

I'm glad that I was able to return to my photography! Jim Dandy is drinking Apple cider by Kareema's side, and he will soon fall in love with her, causing Cookie some temporary sorrow and fury. Meanwhile, Cookie is being led from Chris' house to Kennedy's house, while Kennedy and her sisters are returning to Chris' house, 'cause there's not enough room for everybody in the Foldin' Pretty House (A.K.A. Kennedy's family's house); that blasted house will only fit on any of the surfaces in my room if TWO or fewer of its rooms are unfolded. I am SO getting Barbie's Vacation House at some point in time...

I am currently obsessed with the 1967 movie musical "Half A Sixpence"; if you're a musicals buff, or if you're British, you may have heard of this movie; it stars Tommy Steele, as the sexiest guy whose ever sung about money lust!  I LOVE the money-lusty song ("This Is My World"), because it features a soft-lense camera effect, a sexy guy who's wearing a coat, a bowtie, and...WHITE GLOVES, etc.! I cannot resist a gentleman who's dressed for a formal dance! I'll have to produce a lust-o-licious photo of Tommy Steele...as Artie from "Half a Sixpence"...when I can find a sexy photo of him as Arthur "Artie" Kipps...

For now, I'll just have to produce some lust-o-licious photos of some OTHER Hollywood movie characters, like...

DOCTOR JOHN DOLITTLE...played by Rex "Sexy Rexy" Harrison

Image

LUST-O-LICIOUS DOCTOR DOLITTLE: Doctor John Dolittle is so professional, so disinterested in lust, so physically sexy, and so sexist...that he's a challenge. *SPOILERS* He certainly made Emma Fairfax lust after him like crazy, and then he didn't even bother to answer for the lust that he'd inspired! He's a major Lust-Inspiring Bandit, fer shurr! I'd have wanted to follow him to the ends of the earth just to know what a romance with him would have been like...

JOHN ADAMS...played by William Daniels

Image

LUST-O-LICIOUS JOHN ADAMS: John Adams, as he's portrayed by William Daniels, is sexy enough to make me want to go back to the year 1776 for a kiss underneath the Liberty Bell! Daniel's Mr. Adams is another one of those impossible, stubborn, yet totally sexy guys! He's a classic chauvenist, and yet, he clearly desires his wife, Abigail, and besides, he's just so take-charge, and yet agitated, that who WOULDN'T desire him?

EISENHEIM, THE ILLUSIONIST...played by Edward Norton

Image

LUST-O-LICIOUS EISENHEIM: Eisenheim...The Illusionist has a moustache, and a beard, so he's AUTOMATICALLY sexy in MY book! Of course, he is mysterious, caring, super intelligent, clever, creative, secretive, seductive, etc. I could go on, and on, and on about him, but I have to get SOME sleep SOMETIME this morning...

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear My Scene Fans,

Well, I certainly haven't updated my journal in a few days, now, HAVE I?

What's new with me? Well, not much, but some...I've been customizing a few My Scene dolls. Natty and Sybil both have shorter hair now, but I wish that Natty's hair was longer...drats! I may have to give her some more hair later, or something...OR just style her hair cleverly. I'm TELLIN' ya that it's TOUGH to cut a doll's hair neatly when one comes to the back of the doll's head; the underside of the doll's hair almost ALWAYS looks bad!

Natty Gann looks like so:

NOTE: The creator of the Ultimate Disney DVD rating site is cool, 'cause he really evaluates each DVD release on a detailed level!

Sybil, as portrayed by Sally Field, looks like this:

Well, I ALSO washed the hair of all four HB girls, and let me just say that their heads feature some totally bald spots! EEK! Now THAT'S just SCARY, I'm SHURR!

I then gave one of the Let's Go Disco Nolee sisters a pseudo-Elvira-style haircut, by just twisting her hair, and cutting it from random angles. I can't remember if Elvira was supposed to be the middle triplet, or the last triplet, so I think that I'll make her the slightly tortured, yet intriguing middle triplet. The girls' names are Chloris, Elvira, and Vera. Chloris is the circus clown, while Elvira is a Goth, and Vera is a mysterious, secret agent-type femme fatale! What an exciting trio of sisters!

Speaking of Elvia, Mistress of the Dark, I think of her everytime that I think of that Western song, Elvira! I saw the 1988 Elvira movie at Big KMart, but I'm going to try to get "Orphan" for Halloween this year...so I don't know if I'll get the Elvira movie, too.

Today, I went to town with my family, and I was treated to a bag of peppermints, a box of caramel creams, a Kewpie collectors' book, the 1980 edition of The Kewpie Primer, and a romance novel from 1993! Cool beans! I only wish that I hadn't eaten such a late breakfast, and skipped lunch, 'cause my head was super light when I finally ate dinner at a local restaurant. My family literally ate a five-course meal; I drank two glasses of milk, and I ate a cheese appetizer, soup, a chili and tofu pie, and a mocha cake bar! I was one hungry son of a gun!

Tomorrow, I'm going to go to the bank, and get some money, and then someone from my family is going to give me a small amount of money, so that I can go shopping at Big KMart! Cool! I hope that that same person will help me tonight, with regards to the online purchase of the JL Chelsea doll from Amazon.com.

For some reason, the caramel creams are ONE type of candy which I think is sexy. Since this isn't the Adult Board, you'll have to GUESS the reason why I think that caramel creams are so sexy. I CAN tell you that the center of a caramel cream is super sweet, and super...cold, like something that a dentist would put on a tooth, or something. Weird!

Dear My Scene Fans,

Well, I was indeed able to go on that ...MAJOR...SHOPPING...SPREE...that I'd been wanting to go on, but the day was weird, overall.

The person from my family who was supposed to pick me up in time for me to be able to go to the bank wasn't home on time, so I was stressing out, fer shurr! Then, a major misunderstanding, with regards to my communication with my family, got me most of the money that I needed, but it also made my family upset with me, so that I became the femme fatale who unknowingly used our dinner money for dolls; once we returned home, I ALSO became the chief chef for the evening, so I was on turkey burger duty! EEK!

Of course, everybody loved the burgers, and I was a good enough chef to avoid making anybody sick, with regards to cooking the burgers well enough.

I owe somebody from my family for some of the dolls that I bought, but that's okay. I'm really going to enjoy the four dolls that I bought:

* HB Kennedy (twin): I've renamed her Royona Quinecia/ Royona Quinicia. She's Royella Veyana's twin sister.

* HB Nia (twin): I've renamed her Tequila (True spelling of the beverage)/ Tequilla "Tequi", and she's Eleganza's twin sister.

* Moxie Girlz Jammaz Avery: I gave her body, and her feet, to Avery, but I liked her face so much that I decided to give her a name, a backstory, and a makeover. She's Avery's long lost twin sister, who grew up in Japan as a result of Avery's father's affair with her mother's twin sister. Kita is 9, and she wants to be a vet. She's going to receive freckles, and some cool, interesting, red and dark blonde hair streaks.

* Moxie Girlz Basic Lexa: I renamed her Esther; of course, she was ALWAYS Esther, now, wasn't she? She's not as perfect-looking as the other Basic Lexa, but she had more of an Esther-esque side part, which I intensified. She looks so much more cool now!

Someone removed my photo of Natty Gann, so here are new photos of Natty Gann and Esther:

I'm going to try to wash my new dolls' hair tonight, or tomorrow...

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear My Scene Fans,

Well, Royona's lip color came off in places, too! I am NOT going to try THAT game again, by getting yet a THIRD HB Kennedy doll from Big KMart! Grrr!

Tonight, I downed three small bags of potato chips (cheese, salt & pepper, and jalapeno) and a glass of milk...and about 5 string cheeses...and some water, before trying to eat a mountain of spaghetti...and some salad. Needless to say, I felt sooo sick that I had to put most of the pasta into the fridge. I was only able to eat a few meatballs and the salad.

A few minutes later, I ate some mint chip ice cream, and later, someone from my family helped me to down an entire bag of powdered Donetta doughnuts! There's an entire 12-piece box of doughnuts in the pantry, and the person who helped me to down the bag of doughnuts swears that THEY'RE not eating any more doughnuts!

I pigged out while I was watching wedding shows, which only served to depress me. Since I am worse off than Esther, I will never get married...

I enjoyed the nanny shows that were on the same channel, even though I'll never have kids, either...

My trip to the grocery store was weird. Someone from my family sat and drank coffee while I did all of the shopping, so I sort of took the liberty of choosing some fun items, like ice cream, chips, doughnuts, and lollipops!

Every other shopper whom I passed was in such a good mood that I began to wonder if I wasn't in Stepford! Some lady said "Hi!" in such a friendly way that I actually smiled as I walked away. Thursday must be Stepford Wife...AND Husband...Shopping Day around here. Oh, well. The atmosphere was cheerful, anyway.

The employee who was at one of my stops was a sort of handsome guy. I did a double take as I passed another hot guy later. I love the experience of seeing hot guys at the supermarket, especially when they're sort of older! Talk about the special of the day! At one of the supermarkets that I sometimes go to, there's an especially handsome employee; I wish that I could remember which store he works at!

Well, needless to say, the day was...interesting. I'm currently listening to the Numa Numa song, so that means that I'm in a crazy, sexy mood!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear My Scene Fans,

This week isn't starting very well. I am totally depressed, although I always seem to wear as super a face as I can for my family. It's tough to bear years of uncertainty, confusion, imperfection, etc., when everything is compounded by a half a year's-worth of the inability to be devoured, and destroyed, like a tempting white chocolate truffle.

I suppose that 1884, and that room, and Wickham...will save me, but all of those images are only in my mind. I still can't imagine the scene without opening my eyes...to see my own bedroom...

Well, I shall continue the journal entry later, as I must eat dinner again. I swear that the act of eating interrupts more moments of life!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, I'm back! I'm not really in a more cheerful mood, but I AM full of whole wheat pasta, olive oil, salad, and honey!

I'm going to try to re-rinse Esther's hair tonight, because it's STILL full of whatever crud MGA put into it at the factory! ICK! DOUBLE ICK! TRIPLE ICK...and EWWW! Her hair feels heavy, and literally oily, or something. The feeling of her hair is just GROSS, so I hope that the second boil perm rinse will improve its texture, in such a way that her new, sort of side part is not disturbed!

Dear My Scene Fans,

Well, I believe that I may have very recently found love...of a sort, with the inanimate; the end result was satisfying. I can say no more, except that I may not be able to leave my new love, even as I remain with Wickham...

I simply cannot look at such a love without truly wanting that moment in time to occurr...again...

I must admit that I have suddenly found myself doubting my new love, but only the future shall tell me anything...about my life...

Dear My Scene Fans,

So, it appears that I am the official Hotlinking Bandit! Yee haw, cowboys!

Well, I described my cat Mac's second hospitalization in the "What's New?" thread, so...that's that, but I still hope that no matter WHAT happens, the poor cat won't have to suffer.

Last night, I had to return "Evita" to the rental store, so someone from my family and I went to Big KMart, too, and I got "Orphan" AND a third HB Kennedy doll (I'm going to name her Royaleen/ Royalene Baylea). Her eyes are unevenly sized, and unevenly painted, and her face looks slightly shiny, but she'll be interesting, and, in MY opinion, THAT'S cool!

Esther's hair is STILL full of SOME kind of CRUD! It's time to ATTACK...WITH THE DISH SOAP!

Speaking of Esther, seeing the movie "Orphan" for the second time was weird, 'cause I didn't feel one ounce sorry for Esther, and I got the idea that the moviemakers were stereotyping people like me as totally cruel murderers. Weird! I STILL think that Sarsgaard is hot, although my OWN father was/ is handsome, too...and he has more brains than John Coleman! I WAS always a Daddy's Girl, though, so...well, YOU know the story...

Later today, I have to volunteer at the store, although I'd rather be at home, looking after our Tom cat.

Yesterday morning, my mood was the complete opposite of my mood on Monday morning. That may have been because of my neck ache, or whatever, but I was thinking of unacceptable ideas, doubts, etc.

Lately, I've been feeling as though I'm physically declining, in every sense of the term. My legs have been hurting. I had to turn the temperature of my shower water down yesterday, because I didn't know if I'd faint or not. I keep feeling like I'm starving, no matter HOW much food I eat. I haven't been eating super well, though, so...

I'd TOTALLY talk to others like myself (IF that's even what's wrong with me), but MY complications go far beyond the physical. I don't use drugs, and I don't drink, and I've never committed a crime, but I am oftentimes confused, totally unconventional, darkness-obsessed, focused upon cleanliness, etc., so that I don't belong to ANY camp of people.

I used to be accused of not even being my parent's kid (when arguments occurred), and now, I'm not so certain that that's not true. I don't mean that I was adopted, but I mean that I sometimes believe that I came from another place, and that I sort of view this world from an entirely different world...Don't worry. I'm not literally insane...as far as I know, and I've never been committed...

I am still sad about my friend, though. That entire situation was a tragedy. She DID suffer brutally during many of the years of her life, and I still wish that I could tell her that I didn't stop taking her calls for reasons of hatred, or anything like that. I doubt that we'll ever be able to be friends again. It's all like a story that I once thought of writing, wherein the friendship of a Caucasian woman and an African American woman is tested during the Civil War...The last time during which I talked to her, I told her that I was going to have to have some tests; I didn't even tell her what was wrong with me, but I somehow think that she would have understood...

As for Halloween, I'm not going to be anything...but I AM going to enjoy Life Savers AND specially-flavored candy corn! Yummmy...in the tummy! The fact that my hands have stayed away from that candy corn is a miracle! Whenever I'm deprived of sugar, I go through sugar withdrawls, and I turn into a royal pain in the watoosy!

I'm nervous about November, AND about December! I have to see my Cardiologist, and play the "I'm sooo depressed!" card, due to the fact that I'm not a butt-busting career woman, like SHE would've wanted me to have become. I wish that I didn't have to talk to her again. I certainly don't want to talk to the Genetics Assistant, who insulted me royally, OR to that woman who inspected me, delivered the bad news...after I asked if I had cancer (I don't, thank God), and then didn't even bother to give me a hug (I don't CARE weather or not she likes girls rather than guys...I would've liked the hug regardless)! I hope that the scan reveals that there's NOTHING in there, because, for some reason, I DON'T want to have an already-identified disorder!

We're going to have to go back to my grandparents' house for Christmas! I don't know if I'll survive, but I think that I might...IF I can go to The Mattel Store, AND if I can pick up one of those 3-candle, battery-operated candle lights from Big KMart!

I still need a few more Jammaz Moxie Girlz, because several of the Moxie Girlz only have shoes, as of yet. I ALSO need one more Jammaz Avery, fer shurr, 'cause Kita doesn't even have a body!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear My Scene Fans,

Well, this evening was SUPPOSED to be 100% cool for me, but it only went from bad to worse! Nooo! I SWEAR that things couldn't have gone much worse!

The deal was that I was going to go to Big KMart with someone from my family, because they had to pick up some items for a meeting that they were going to tonight. While we were there, we were going to get a battery-operated, self-timed, three-tiered candelabrum that I wanted.

Well, everything proceeded normally, and I even went home with Jammaz Lexa, too, but then I tried two of our own appropriate batteries with the candle light, and...ONE OF THE STUPID BULBS WOULDN'T LIGHT UP, NO MATTER WHAT I DID! I must admit that you can take those candles out of their holders, and turn them, for decorative purposes, and that that's what I did, but even THAT shouldn't have ruined ONE STUPID BULB! There must be something wrong with the wiring of that stupid thing!

Well, needless to say, I haven't been too pleased tonight. I won't be able to return the silly thing until Saturday, and I'm hoping that the person from my family who purchased it still has the receipt...from this "Laugh of the Century" bad purchase! I guess that I'm sort of worried that THEY won't be too pleased about the situation. Oh, well. I doubt that the wiring problem, or whatever, is my fault. THAT'LL teach me to choose the Martha Stewart candle from THE BACK OF THE ROW! ARG! NEXT time, I'm bringing the batteries, buying the silly candelabrum, and TESTING the darned thing BEFORE I leave for home! <Tears out hair>

In other news, my rebel kitty is back to his cause; he finally responded when I spoke to him in his language, and he wanted to play rough. He's also been crying to be let outside, although we're not gonna let him out until his medication regimen is over with.

I forgot to mention that every bit of my bedroom clutter is now in the living room. Someone from my family is helping me to organize my life, and...nearly ALL of my dolls are out in the living room; we've decided that I won't bring one single item back into my room until the entire room is organized. At that point, I'll go through everything that's currently in the living room, make some gut-wrenching decisions, and bring back ONLY what I absolutely have to have. EEK! Can I even DO that? I don't want to give up my interests, but I don't want to obliterate my childhood memories. I want to enjoy all of those lovely dolls, but my room feels so refreshingly free from clutter that I almost can't BEAR to bring one more item back into it, anyway. Decisions, decisions...The host of "Clean House" would probably call my room "The Valley of The Dolls".

At least I can now install that black light for the paintings that are all over my walls. Muahaha! J/K.   Although, speaking of slasher movies that involve main characters painting on the walls, "Bad Ronald" is a cool movie. I watched that movie on YouTube, and it's pretty good, and pretty sad, for a 1973 made-for-tv movie. Poor Ronald! Watch that movie, and you'll never look at a bathroom wall in the same way again!

I guess that I've been upset about more than just a stupid candelabrum today. I am so sick of things going wrong! I must remind myself to be careful about what I wish for, though, because I'm not satisfied when my life is perfect, either. I'm always either kicking myself for wanting drama, or for wanting perfection! I sometimes think that that's what sometimes occurs when someone who wasn't meant for this world is saved by those who play God. Then again, my personality is, as far as I know, rather one of a kind, anyway.

Last night, or rather this morning, I started to write the screenplay for "One Daughter, Possessed", but the dad, Cal, is sounding a little too square to be a modern-day ranch hand. Truth be told, I sort of intended to base him upon a single dad who sometimes talks to me when I go to broadcast my show, and I sort of based the daughter upon Esther's younger sister, Maxine, from "Orphan".

I STILL feel sorry for that single dad. His daughter is so sweet, but he has to work so much to get her anything. One day, she showed up at the cafe with holes in her sweater. They remind me of the modern day version of Great Depression survivors. I wanted so much to buy that kid the biggest, most expensive Bryer horse in the world! Her father is probably much too proud to allow that, but one can dream...

I once bought my younger cousin, Ali, a toy horse, even though she was probably too old for such a horse. I was in college, and her mother was the one from whom I hid in Fred Meyer whenever I had Barbie dolls in the cart. That entire situation was sad, 'cause Ali looked young for her age, but her mother wanted her to grow up quickly, and fit in, so it always seemed as though she didn't want me to buy my cousin any gifts, or anything like that.

If my other younger girl cousin had lived, would I have been able to spoil her with gifts, and would we have even gotten along anymore...?

That guy at the cafe will presumably call me Gigi from now on, because I look young for my age, and because he channels Maurice Chevalier; it does feel cool to share a joke with someone again, even though I can't take the situation seriously. Silly seducer; he couldn't even convince any of the women in town to be his dance partner, so he quit the business! I don't mind being his casual conversational partner on Sundays, though, as long as I'm not being insulted.

I'm going to avoid posting photos here anymore, because I recently realized that I could literally be dragged through legal mud for using photos without permission. I may try to get permission during the future, but if I can't , I more than likely won't be posting photos; I'll be posting urls, though.

Well, I hope that the candle situation can be remedied. I'll see what happens on Halloween!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE: The person from my family who went to Big KMart with me just told me that they have the receipt, and that we can probably replace the candelabrum on Saturday! Cool!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear myscenefan,

The specially-flavored candy corn that I have was bought at Wal*Mart. I can't remember exactly which flavors were available, but they were flavors like Wild Berry, Pumpkin Spice, Apple Cinnamon, etc. I happened to choose the Pumpkin Spice-flavored candy corn. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to experience THAT flavor. The candy itself is a different color than that of regular candy corn.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
