Dear TAMAGO,
She's beautiful! I love her makeup, and I think that her slightly-pulled-back hairstyle is lovely.
I only wish that her face looked more matte than shiny; I guess that acrylic paint sort of dries shiny?
I think that she has the articulated Nikki body? Am I right? I should pick up one of the articulated Nikki dolls at Big Lots!, or wherever...
Thanks in advance for your reply.

thanks jeannie,
i am trying to make some adjustments on the shininess of her face.
yes she has the nikki articulated body, but however, the body has still a very light complexion to what my vision for her is. so i decided to painted it also and thus this is the end result.
p.s. the the paint has a matte finish when it comes contact with hard plastic, however, it has a different effect on rubber.

Wow, I would've never guessed that. I thought it would've been a Madison or something.

Dear My Scene Fans,
The photos of the various, OOAK, darker-complected AA My Scene girls are inspiring me to save enough money to get those two articulated Fashion Fever girls whom I hid at Long's Drug Store yesterday; one of the girls was Nikki!
I still wish that I new how cjstarz dyed her Madison dolls so that they'd be darker-complected. I don't really want to have to paint a Madison head, but there's one Madison doll who's just perfect for SOME kind of a OOAK makeover, 'cause her face is sort of curved in about the nose, giving her what I think is a more African look; she was originally an Un-Fur-Gettable Madison, but she looks so African that I'd love to give her a makeover.
I've yet to pick out a proper African name for her, but I'll find something that fits her well. I'll have to change her irises to chocolate brown, or darker, and I'll have to dye her hair black, too, and make its curl slightly tighter. I'll have to give her a nude-type pink lip color, so that she'll look as though she's wearing very little makeup. Now, if only there were a way by which to flatten the articulated girls' feet...
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Cool. The Bratz doll looks like the Japanese girls who put 'black skin' makeup on their bodies.
I forget what that's called.

I think what Fierce meant was, you could've used a more abundant or common doll which can be bought locally. But I think you did it, coz her hair is long and dark.
