I liked He-man well enough I guess, but for me, and my childhood it was all about Jem and She-Ra!!!!!

Mine, too. I loved Jem the most, but the She-Ra toys were cheaper. I had almost all of them, which was unusual for me. I usually had one or two from a line and that was it.

Well with the popularity of the reimagined Masters of The Universe collection burning up Mattycollector.com, I'm sure some She-Ra characters won't be far behind.

Well they made one for Comic Con a few years back based on a Teela reissue. But Mattel's new MOTU action figures takes elements from the more recent (and severe) makeovers given to the characters, and couples it with the look of the classic toys. The results actually look pretty cool IMO.

I saw them, and love them, but "boy" toys are completely useless to me. Action figures? FEH!

I have the MerMan from the current MotU line and love him. I had him as a kid, too! I'd buy every damn one if they made reimagined She-Ra characters. I've got Teela, Evil-Lyn and She-Ra from the previous action figure line (as well as Orko, Skeletor, MerMan and some of the snake men), and the staction Evil-Lyn and Sorceress, so more would definitely be welcome here!

I like the figures. I think they look great. But like myscenefan, I'm not much for action figures. I only buy action figures if they're 12" or so. I'm a size queen. lol

I actually collected figures before I started recollecting dolls as an adult collector, so they fit right into my collecting history. I rarely buy them anymore, but MotU and anything linked to the 80s are always a potential buy!

Dear My Scene Fans,

I'm not going to list any foes, but I am more than willing to remove names from my "Friends" list...

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Let me guess, this all started with the Maxine's new BFF contest right?
I knew this would happen. You ruined your friendship over a contest.
It was only a contest to begin with and yet you take it too personal.
The idea behind it was to have fun and some drama between the
dolls. Not amongst yourselves.

Either way I'm not having anyone on a Friend or Foe list.
I find this feature useless for me but definately useful for the two of you.
Just make sure you think twice before adding someone to either
side of the list. Is all this bickering really worth it over a doll contest?

In the contest you both play a fictional charactars. Leave things were
they belong. Quit bringing it on to every thread. I can see why
Kevin doesn't even bother with it anymore. I knew it right from start
someone's feelings are gonna get hurt.

Dear My Scene Fans,

Who were you referring to, Spunky, when you said "you two"? I'm not upset with you, but I don't know if you were referring to Max and myself, or to Max and someone else...

Speaking of the contest, I have a few confessions to make; please note that I will say nothing more about the subject after I have said what I'm going to say right now. I must confess that I didn't actually want to join the contest at first; Max kept insisting that I join, so I finally joined. I STILL don't know why he was so insistant that I join, and I still don't know what happened to Kevin, but, yes, I WAS indeed insinuating that he had become sick of the drama.

I am almost glad that my model isn't participating in the contest anymore, and I wish that all of this new drama over Anika wasn't occurring. I am sooo over arguing with everybody, but I am willing to keep arguing, if I must do so, even though I know that arguments on THESE boards tend to perpetuate each other, like runs in a stocking. How tiresome...

Thanks in advance for your replies.

You and Max. I don't know how many other arguments there is as
I'm not that active on this board compared to my own but it's
been two threads already I'm seeing you guys argue. Although
it's not as bad but it starts to get annoying. I just don't think
it's worth arguing over it. Especially if the two fictional
charactars are the ones that are in bad terms with each other.
It shouldn't have to be the two of you. It's Cookie and Maxine,
it doesn't need to be Jeannie and Max. You guys should leave it
at the contest thread and move on.

It gets "tiring" having to go read different thread on this forum
and seeing people not getting along. Not only is it in one thread
but it spreads to the next and the next one after. Let it go already.

To answer Jeannie:

I wanted you to join because it was important to me to have you in the contest. I wanted you to start getting into posting pictures like the rest of us do. I was tired of hearing people say that you are a liar and that you don't post pictures because you really don't have any OOAK dolls.

To answer Spunky:

Maybe you're right. Maybe I did let doll drama spill over to real life. I'm willing to drop the whole thing. No more drama between me and Jeannie.

Dear Spunky and Max,

I wish that I hadn't disappointed you, Spunky, but I can understand what you mean about the bad karma, and the bad attitudes, migrating from thread to thread.

Cool beans, Max. I sort of WONDERED if you wanted to see some pics from me. I'm actually glad that I was finally able to start posting photos, and I'm glad that you were encouraging me to posts photos because you wanted me to be able to post some pics already!

So, this is officially the "No More Drama Truce!"

I STILL wish that Kevin would return, and that Diamond would win the competition, but we'll ALL have to see what happens, with regards to THAT situation...

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I wasn't dissapointed. Just annoyed that every forum
I go to has turned into a battlefield.

That's normal though. It happens everywhere. And on lots of forums, I'm not even involved!

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows is boring anyway. A little spice makes everything nice!

It's the balance of life. You can't have rainbows without a little rain first.

Dear My Scene Fans,

I agree that SOME drama is cool, but I don't think that the drama has to go on forever.

Thanks in advance for your replies.
