Dear My Scene Fans,
Did you ever find that you were crushing on a roving Disney character when you went to Disneyland/ Disneyworld?
My story may, or may not, be typical. The year was 1989 (?); I was 10, and my grandma took me to Disneyland, and...well, I was totally crushing on whichever guy was playing the role of Peter Pan in the park! I think that I must have kept wishing to see him, etc., and I know that I was excited about seeing him in a parade.
I also remember that "Peter Pan" was rereleased during 1989; that may have been the very first animated Disney movie that I saw on the big screen. Well, anyway, before I saw the movie, my best friend and I were talking during a summer music institute, and she said, "When Tiger Lily kisses Peter Pan, his face turns as red as your shirt."
I, being ever detail-oriented, became obsessed with Peter Pan's blush, and so, of course, I just HAD to see the movie! I'll bet that I had the shade of that blush down to a scientific shade...I've somehow always remembered that Peter Pan supposedly blushed in the same shade as the red-orange mix-n-match top that I used to own.
I may have grown up, but a girl's never too old to old to crush on the most famous, Vintage Disney ladies' man in the Disney cannon.
So, which Disneyland/ Disneyworld character did YOU crush on?
