If there is already a thread on this, then I apologize. But I'm hoping someone from Mattel will see this and make it happen.

There are certain My Scene characters that I and I'm sure alot of us want to see make a return, or be introduced in the first place.

Firstly, a return of Jai. It's really unfair that the only dark skinned My Scene girl was a one shot character. And on top of that, we had to get her lumped in with Sutton and a ridiculous tandem bike. We want Jai back and we want her with silky black hair and (this maybe too much to ask) the Roller girls face mold.

Second, bring back the boys. All of the boys. Not just River and Hudson. But Sutton, Ellis, and Bryant too! In the classic rooted hair style, NOT with molded hair. We've got a hundred different Kennedys, Chelseas and Madisons but no boys!

Since we're on the topic of Boys, how about some new ones? An Asian boy and a darker skinned AA boy! It seems like every My Scene boy is the same skin color (except Sutton of course) Is it too much to ask for a pale boy and a darker boy?

Oh and bring back Nolee. I don't care what color you make Delancey's hair, she's no replacement. I liked that Nolee added SOME cultural diversity to the My Scene line. Now all we have is one latin girl, two white girls and one (half?) AA girl. Just doesn't seem right.

I know this may seem like a racial rant but it really isn't. I just think that for a line of dolls that are supposed to be based in New York, there is very little cultural diversity. Not everyone sports the same golden tan and not every AA person is Halle Berry/ Lenny Kravitz/Mocha Latte color

I totally agree. Especially the part about Nolee.

Jai and Nolee definitely. I want Delancey to go back to being blonde with dark streaks.

So true Max, I totally agree.

I like the fact that Nia is added and there is an official Latina in the group, but we do need a true AA girl. Jai and Nolee are totally needed in the line because they add much needed cultural diversity in My Scene. Madison is obviously bi-racial, and is sometimes darker which is nice, but I want to see one who had a gorgeous who sports a skintone like Nikki and a introduced having a cute afro like the one I gave Fatima.

As for the boys, we need them too. A culturally diverse group of boys for each girl would be so awesome.

Remember when the MS gang used to look like this, the girls had boyfriends and crush and the line was pretty realistic. I really miss these days..

I'd like to see blonde Delancey as well. With the lighter skin tone instead of the pinkish Chelsea skintone they've given her recently. It made her different.

Dear My Scene Fans,

I don't mind the fact that Delancey is a brunette, but I'd like to see her hair color change from time to time. She could even be a light brownette at times.

I think that ALL of the girls sport the same...boring...hair colors...too often! They need to shake up their styles more often, and they need to add some spice to their hair colors sometimes!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

YES! That's Delancey to me. I love some of the dark-haired versions, but the first Delancey was so the best.

I love it when blondes are pale. Not all of us are tan, thanks, Barbie.

And that's exactly my point. The My Scene line went from offering SOME variety, to offering the same doll with different hair colors.

Lol, honestly, I like Kennedy more name-wise. I didn't really like how Barbie had her own brand and was also in the My Scene brand. But My Scene Barbie is nicer than Kennedy in my opinion. Kennedy just goes clubbing way too often...

I prefer to have Kennedy instead of Barbie in the My Scene line. It sets them apart from other Mattel lines.

Barbie left/ was replaced my Kennedy, and the line is still surviving, proving that My Scene is a line that needs more attention.

Dear NattySeal,

You might like Kennedy as she exists within my My Scene world...she's a slightly prim and proper, honest, All-American good girl from Washington D.C., who can party, but who is also too creative to fit into a totally stereotypical scene.

What sort of a person is Kennedy as she exists within your My Scene world?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Ellis, Nolee, Jai, Blonde Delancey with light skintone, the other boys. The guys body could be like the one on those articulated prince, the current one has quite little hands, bring back the old face mold (maybe with a little enhancement on the nose) and rooted hair.

Oh heck just bring the whole gang back! Well, Barbie never left so she's not included, she just changed her name.

I want to see jai nolee and kenzie, just some variation like they are doing now with nia in some lines.
I don't care that delancey is brunette i like it very much.
And for the boys i do want them back but just not much.
If i have one of each that will be enough for me but than they do have to make fashion packs for the boys..

I think the boys should be brought back, but should have variations in eye color and hairstyles for each character so you don't end up with the same boy 10 times over.

Great thread, Max! I TOTALLY agree that there needs to be more cultural diversity and thus, should bring Jai back. Nolee would be nice and Delancey can go back to her blonde roots. The boys would be great but again, we need more ethnic characters!

I would like to see Kenzie, Nolee & Jai all back in MyScene on a regular basis. Even though, I really like Delancey with the dark brunette hair, I prefer her with the original streaked blond hair color. It was different. MyScene needs a major surge of ethnic diversity. I would like all the guys back with their original bodies/heads, but just slighty shorter necks. I never quite understood why Barbie left MyScene and a girl named Kennedy looking so like a long lost twin sister taking her place. But I like Kennedy as a name and as a character in the MyScene crew. Maybe the answer to my list of requests comes down to what sells best. I don't know. But I definately think that the line really needs a good shakeup with the character lineup! :D

My choices for a return would be:-

For the girls; Nolee, plus the original ash-blonde Delancey, and Kenzie.

For the boys; River, Hudson, Sutton, Ellis and Bryant.

It's difficult to see how Jai, or, for that matter, Tyson, could return, since those two characters were definitely tied in to Jamaica in 'Jammin in Jamaica', but it would be good to see a darker skin-toned, more Afro-Caribbean boy and girl introduced.

As for the Barbie/Kennedy 'thing', my own preference would have been to retain the name Barbie, tho' it might have tied the My Scene line in too closely to Mattel's main Barbie lines.

But the main thing I would like to see, is for the My Scene range to be more widely available again, as it seems to have dropped right off the radar on this side of the Atlantic, at least in the UK! Perhaps Mattel are too busy with the High School Musical and Hannah Montana lines.

I really don't see Jai returning unless they went back to Jamaica, but I'd love for her to get a clone. If B can be cloned, clone Jai and this time give her more to go on. It's a total win/win for everyone.

Bring back Nolee so I can stop with the mourning. Delancey can go back to being pale at least part of the time. Gimme back my Kenzie so I can get my redhead not!Midge fix and for the love of all that is dolly, kill the clubbing themes.

Well maybe not Jai, but I definetly would like to see that skin tone make a return on a My Scene girl again.

Definitely. Wasn't there supposed to be a new girl this year? Or was it next year? O.o
