I love that Beach Midge and I always enjoy seeing more pics of her here. I'm on my 3rd one of those. I never did find one till now that was in good shape, but I think the one I got yesterday is looking pretty good. She's on the counter on a towel drying as I type. She got herself and her hair washed. She was a bit dirty because she was outside at the flea market when my friend who works out there found her.

:)

Don't worry Mao, I love what you did to her hair.

What's with those gashes in her arm? Is she a cutter?

That's how I found her. So I guess she is... or was. Now I have her, she is an ex-cutter =) Those are scars. You know how when scars are fresh, they are pink, and fade over time? Well, hers are fresh, and pink. Not red from blood... hehe

Would you ever consider rebodying her? Or are you happy with her painted on undies?

I've never rebodied before, so I dunno how to do it. But I like her painted on undies and cuts <3

Rebodying is easy. The method most people use is to run the head under hot water until the plastic gets soft, then the head pops right off.
If you don't want to get your doll's hair wet, you can use a blow dryer to heat the head.
Some use an electric blanket, but the main point is to heat the head so it's soft enough that it pops right off.

Her face is growing on me. It's the same size as the ANTM girls. She might just have to be a add-in finalist in Grace's Top Model competition...although I think I would much prefer Cutie or Girly or Sassy to be the 13th girl. I wish Barbie could come in Summer's hair color. ><

She's so pretty and I luv her dress and earrings! I think she or Girly would be a great addition to the competition. Sassy could work too, but I personally think the has a dead face.

Her earrings get in the way. D: I'm gonna get rid of em...

I love her two-toned hair. Just wish the blonde wasn't the dominant color. ><

Are they the usual anti-removal earrings?

I think her hair is really cute too. Who has her body now, or will it be a surprise?

Sammy, yes. D: So annoying. >< Her hair kept on getting caught in the earrings. Her body was originally supposed to go to Arianna, one of the Top Model contestants, but I'll need Sassy for that. So Top Model Barbie got it. :D

Thanks, turquoise. :) Thing is...I'm actually starting to like her now. xD I need to get her back onto a Fashionista's body.

Is Sassy a close match to Summer/Kennedy? If so, my Sharpay is totally getting an upgrade. Looks like the board needs a new skintone match list. ;)

TM Barbie is still going to be a judge, right?

Sassy is actually the standard Teresa-tone. Cute, Glam, Wild, and Girly are all standard Barbie-tan-tone. Artsy is the standard Nikki-tone.

Artsy is not Nikki skin-tone.Nikki skintone is darker and would match the original Desiree.

I wish they had added Nikki, so that I can swap body to my older Desiree.

The other Barbies are tanned, except for two it seems to me.

I wanted a Kayla body swap, but the tanned Barbie is too light for her.

So no easy body swap.

I've mainly purchase Wild for her dress. She is pretty though, but I have enough Barbies.

Dang, Artsy is lighter? D: Now that I think about it, she is. -__- I now have to track down an old FF Nikki from last year. Curse you, Mattel for not giving us variety in skintones. ><

I'm hoping Artsy will match StSw Madison. I think there should have been more than 6 Fashionistas released, I'm getting more and more discouraged about bodies matching heads.

I need a Nikki-toned Fashionista-ish body for Calista. :( That is...if her head will fit. :|

You know...I've never bought a playline Teresa or Summer before. O.o She might have to be my first.
